Resetting the Language If You Have the Standard 11-Button On-Board Computer (OBC)

 
If you have the upgraded OBC, see the E36 OBC page.   Otherwise, if you have the standard 11-button OBC this should work.

1. Hold the 1000 and 10 keys simultaneously
2. Press the 1 button until the display shows Funktion: 01
3. Press the Set/Res button.
4. The display will now show Sprache: 1 engl.

Well, yours will show some other language, but if you want English scroll through (by pressing the 1 button until you see: 1 engl.
